Blue Ridge Bible Church exists, in part, to point people to Christ and help
them become like Him. It is our mission to see those of every race, creed,
and color glorify God by following His Son, Jesus Christ.
The Concise Oxford English Dictionary defines purpose as, "[the] reason
for which something is done or for which something exists." In short, the
church exists to glorify God through His Son, Jesus Christ. The church is
that unique place on earth where Almighty God's wisdom is disseminated
to all people before the watching heavens. It is the place where God is
respected in His proper place as holy in relationship to sin and exalted as
the Supreme Sovereign in relationship to mankind and history
(Ephesians 3:10, 21). The church is the place where God's family
assembles and His Word is proclaimed (I Timothy 3:15).
